Open Day and Open Gardens.

The Open Day — Saturday 5th August 2006

Our Open Day is held once every year on the first Saturday in August from 12.00-5.00pm. Refreshments are provided in the way of a barbecue, with a mixture of vegetarian, meat burgers or sausages, ice-creams, cakes, rolls, soft drinks, teas, beers and wines.

Many stalls offer bric-a-brac, games, local crafts and produce, while competition games are organised for all to enjoy. Of course, there is still plenty of opportunity to enjoy the beautiful gardens or meet some of the animals around the grounds. The day always ends with a raffle with very generous prizes. All proceeds go to charity every year.
A good day out for the family and kids!

Open Gardens and Therapy Days

Our Open Gardens events took place on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th May 2006.

Home made cream teas and cakes are available throughout the afternoon, while people are encouraged to visit the gardens and enjoy the pond and rockery, vegetable garden, wild garden, the secret garden, the paddocks and horses, and much more. The wild garden features a young woodland, wild flowers, gravel paths, a standing dolman and a Buddha, as well as the occasional rare birds and other animals.

Natural Healing is also available free of charge, as well as taster sessions for other therapies, for which there is a charge of £3.
