stormy sky with lightening

A Warning from the Great Mind

Where there was light now was no light and where the light had stood behold it had become as a shadow falls upon the countenance of man — surely be it said this that comes upon us is from the doings of man be they thought right and yet be wrong or knowing them to be wrong they have been performed.

In times past I have sent you the winds to storm across your lands, lashing the seas to wondrous magnificence for even so it was known that these things shewed — they shewed the unrest of your Lord and in his deep thoughts did he wonder how could all this be brought to comfort, to quiet and fully to the understanding of all men.

Behold the mighty trees brought low unto the ground from which they did spring, the homes of man made to be as mounds of stones upon the ground, the harvests of the fields (tilled by man for the survival of man) destroyed so that the offspring of man cried aloud for sustenance and yet there was none. The waters of crystal provided for man and animal are fouled, and these things be the work of man.

Many times over the seasons and tides have I spoke and there have been those times when my children have bent their ears to my words, alas, these times are no more. Man is deaf to my voice and hears not the supplication of the elders, nor yet the ancients who draw ever near.

What, man asks, can man do? — THEN NOW LISTEN MAN. PUT DOWN THE MARKINGS OF PLEASURE, OF IDOLATORY, OF IDLENESS, OF DESIRE FOR THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT MEET FOR YOUR SOULS, NOR YET YOUR BODIES; ARISE AND DECLARE FOR THE LIGHT OF SANITY AND BECOME AS CHILDREN AND THEN ONCE MORE, TO BE MAN AS I, YOUR LORD, DID DETERMINE THAT YOU WOULD BE.

IF, MY CHILDREN, YOU DO NOT LISTEN THEN HEAR THIS ONLY WHEN ONCE AGAIN THE WINDS ROAR, TIDES RISE, RAINS DESTROY. THEN PONDER, WILL THESE STOP OR NOT? CONTINUE TO WONDER, MY CHILDREN. PERHAPS I HAVE WAITED TOO LONG.
